About Minal

Born and raised on the west side of Fiji, my passion, drive and the love for henna was nurtured and cultivated in a traditionally Indo-Fijian household. My mentor, hero and best friend (my mom) taught me this beautiful art form when I was just 10 and I did my first bridal henna when I was 14. My work has evolved with time but my roots have stayed solid.

In 2010, I took the leap by following my dad's footsteps into entrepreneurship making henna, makeup and hair a full-time career. After receiving professional training from The Ash Kumar academy in London, I was chosen to be their first educator in USA and got the honor of teaching hundreds of students with different backgrounds until 2015.

My family and I now reside in California. I have been fortunate enough to serve brides world wide including Australia, Canada, Dominican Republic, England, Fiji, Mexico, New Zealand and Panama.
